In 2015, Ventura County Credit Union (VCCU) formed its own non-profit 501(c)(3) to foster goodwill and charitable giving in the communities served by VCCU. The idea was inspired by many years of giving to local non-profit organizations and causes.
Founded in 1950, VCCU began helping members reach their financial goals, driven by the credit union philosophy of "People Helping People."
This philosophy is more evident today than ever. Funded jointly by VCCU and generous members, The Foundation of VCCU came to fruition, with a goal of providing funding, assistance and education to our local non-profits.

VCCU is a full-service, Southern California credit union with branches in Ventura, Port Hueneme, Oxnard, RiverPark, Camarillo, Thousand Oaks, Simi Valley and Moorpark. If you live, work or attend school in Ventura or Santa Barbara Counties, you are eligible to join!
