Caring is one of the things Ventura County Credit Union does best.

We donate money, we volunteer our time, and we give from the heart.

At our core, Ventura County Credit Union focuses on giving back to our community

Here are some of the ways we support Ventura County.

By nature, VCCU is a philanthropic organization. In recent years, we've provided over a half-million dollars, thousands of pounds of food, and school supplies to charitable organizations through our corporate giving and in-branch fundraisers. We also offer each of our staff members compensation for up to 40 hours per year of volunteer time.

To facilitate efforts to provide financial assistance and education to our community, we formed The Foundation of Ventura County Credit Union, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, in 2015. The Foundation focuses on helping the underserved, beautifying and preserving our environment, and promoting health and well-being.

Hispanic/Immigrant Outreach

Working with organizations such as the Mixteco/Indígena Community Organizing Project (MICOP) and the Consulate of Mexico, VCCU has developed an outreach program for Hispanic communities, agricultural companies and community partners offering free financial services and additional assistance as needed.

For our commitment, VCCU in 2017 received the Juntos Avanzamos, “Together We Advance” designation from the National Federation of Community Development Credit Unions.

Get Involved

Visit the VCCU website throughout the year for fundraising events and follow along on our social media channels @MyVCCU to see what we're doing in the community.

Our life-changing work would not be possible without the generous support of organizations like VCCU. Your investment makes an enormous difference in our community as we continue to inspire hope and nurture the mental health and well-being of those we serve.
