As a VCCU member, you are also an owner of the organization and a valued part of our Credit Union family. And because we are a member-owned, not-for-profit, community-focused financial institution, everything we do benefits you.
VCCU proudly offers our members:
Comprehensive Financial Services
Whatever your financial goals, we offer a full scope of financial services to help you reach them, including savings accounts, checking accounts, investment opportunities, credit cards, loans, mobile and online banking, nationwide ATMs and more.
As a member-owned, not-for-profit financial institution, everything we earn is reinvested in you (rather than in stockholders’ interests, as is the case with many banks). This means we’re able to offer higher returns on deposits, lower loan rates and fewer fees.
Participation in Credit Union Direction
At VCCU, your opinion counts. As a member and an owner, you have the opportunity to make your voice heard and influence credit union decisions. If you’d like to get even more involved, we encourage you to volunteer to serve on our Board of Directors or Supervisory Committee.
Based in Ventura County since 1950, VCCU now has multiple branches throughout the region and has won multiple Ventura County Star Readers’ Choice awards. We love this community, and when you bank with us, your money stays local, helping to benefit our shared home.
With convenient local branches, a nationwide network of more than 30,000 ATMs, and mobile and Online Banking services, VCCU is with you wherever you go.
Through our Preferred Partner network — which includes organizations such as the Ventura County Fair, TurboTax and beyond — you can take advantage of discounts, cash rewards and great savings opportunities.
As a VCCU member you have access to free financial counseling and a variety of educational resources through our partnership with BALANCE. We also offer Financial Education Opportunities throughout the year and newsletters to help keep you informed on special events and useful banking tips.
When we help our community, we are all better off. VCCU supports a variety of nonprofits throughout the region, attends more than 400 community events per year and participates on more than 30 volunteer boards. As a member, you can help us make a difference. To learn more about our community involvement, please take a look at our annual report.

Available to all VCCU members, community groups and nonprofit organizations, our Thousand Oaks community room provides a convenient venue you can reserve for meetings and events. The room comfortably fits up to 49 people and is equipped with moveable tables and chairs, an LCD projector, and a screen.
