Fire Relief Loan
If you have been impacted by the Thomas Fire and need money to get back on your feet, take advantage of our special loan.*
- Borrow up to $5,000
- Rate as low as 6.95% APR**
- 0% interest for first 30 days
- Repayment term up to 24 months
- Loan rate and terms will be valid until January 31, 2018

FEMA Disaster Assistance Center
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has opened a local center at our Ventura office for residents and businesses who have been impacted by the Thomas Fire, the Montecito mudflows and other regional disasters.

American Red Cross Assistance
A public hotline is available for anyone who may have questions about what services are available. Please call the hotline at (512) 745-2920 or contact the local Red Cross chapter at (805) 987-1514 to learn more.
Questions about property taxes?
If your home has been destroyed by the recent fires, you have resources available to you. First, a big question you will need answered, “Do I have to pay property taxes on my home when it has been destroyed?" The answer: you can file to have your property taxes reduced.

You may redeem your Rewards Points for a donation to The Foundation of VCCU for Fire Relief efforts. Here's how:
- Navigate to the bottom of your Accounts page
- Under "VCCU Rewards" click "Get Details or Redeem"
- From the rewards options page, select Charities, then scroll to the "Donation to Thomas Fire" section.
The Thomas Fire has and continues to significantly impact our members, partners, and the community at large, and it will take time to recover and heal. To assist in that process, The Foundation of VCCU and Ventura County Credit Union have established a fire relief campaign for those looking to contribute monetary donations. As with all giving through The Foundation of VCCU, 100% will go back to our local community and those impacted by these devastating fires.
