Supports the Consumer Loan Department by providing excellent service to our members and employees in accordance with established lending policies and procedures. Complete all DMV tasks such as reviewing loan reports, sending registrations to DMV, filing and removing liens, sending letters to members, filing.
Reviews closed loan report for title release requirements and send appropriate letters within a reasonable time frame. Responsible for all liens perfection documentation. Sends all necessary paperwork, fees, and registration forms to DMV for title and lien processing. Responsible for all liens to be recorded to the State of California under the UCC1. The filing and removing of these liens when applicable. Reviews monthly DMV status report and works on any problem accounts through conclusion. Phone calls and data input and computer investigation while talking with insurance companies, members, car dealers and other financial institutions regarding problem resolution, loan pay-off, claims, and the like.
Maintains loan folders and supporting DMV documents as required and files in main vault upon perfection of titles. Responsible for the monitoring and updating of all DMV reports electronically on the FDI/DealerTrack and Symitar systems, including but not limited to the Responsibility Report, VIN Mismatch, Name Mismatch, Perfected Lien, Closed Loan and DMV All Dates report. Responsible for the certification of the DMV general ledger account.Responsible for updating the DMV Toolkit as required and notifying Branches Serves as back-up to the Lending Call Center. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma, GED or equivalent; one year experience in a Consumer Loan Department; Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; basic math, personal computer and 10-key skills. Employees are required to complete any job related coursework assigned; including online coursework, in-person training, and offsite training as required by their manager and the training department.
