  • Compliance Manager

    We have a current opening for a Compliance Manager.  This individual is responsible for ensuring that the Credit Union remains in compliance with the multitude of laws and regulations affecting financial institution operations.  The Compliance Manager leads the Compliance Department, providing leadership and directing compliance staff in managing the regulatory and fraud environment.  The Compliance Manager also serves as the Compliance Officer and BSA officer for VCCU and will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Bank Secrecy Act and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) Programs including risk assessment and annual compliance training.  The Compliance Manager also assists with all internal and external audits and exams.

  • Member Service Officer II - Part Time

    The primary purpose of this position is to deliver exceptionally high quality service to our members and teammates.  A key element of this service is to identify member needs and recommend credit union solutions that will improve the members’ financial well-being. Additionally is responsible for answering incoming calls in a prompt and efficient manner. Responds to member inquires and performs a variety of services for members.   • Mortgage Loan Originator (Full-Time)

    The Mortgage Loan Originator is a sales professional responsible for self-sourcing high quality loans which meet VCCU guidelines, while providing excellent member service. Strong sales and organizational skills are essential. Position requires compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act and all related regulations. Ongoing employment is contingent upon meeting all such requirements.

  • Mortgage Processor III

    The Mortgage Processor III’s primary responsibilities include reviewing and verifying loan documents including income, credit, appraisal title insurance, asset statements, etc., and ensuring the information is complete, accurate and complies with credit union policies as well as meets underwriting requirements. Other duties include entering information into Lending QB, following up and communicating with both members and loan officers to obtain missing or updated documentation in order to process the mortgage loan file in a timely manner. Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with multiple people, multitask, work in a team environment and manage an average pipeline of 30-35 loans in order to meet closing expectations.

  • Mortgage Underwriter

    Professionally and proficiently communicates the value of the product and service line to members creating a complete relationship building experience. Perform work requiring the use of judgment and discretion in making credit decision for members seeking a variety of mortgage loans for assorted purposes. Review applications and credit histories recommending disposition of loans. Review applications and other documentation to determine credit worthiness of applicant. Develop information to process mortgage loan applications.  Provides for the review of mortgage loan applications in conformance with established loan policies, completeness of documentation, accurate preparation and asset quality.  Underwrite and approve or deny mortgage loans within authorized lending authority.
