  • Assistant Vice President, Human Resources

    The AVP of Human Resources is responsible for the administration and oversight of all facets of the human resources function for the Credit Union. Develops and maintains a variety of programs to promote business objectives and enable harmonious employee relations. Oversee recruitment activities by maintaining department approved personnel allocations, developing starting salaries, salary grades and extending offers to candidates. Conducts research into the latest trends in personnel policy development and recommends policy revisions. Develops, documents and issues personnel policies and practices.  Recommends basic objectives, policies and guidelines required to implement and administer compensation programs. Ensure fair and equitable application of compensation policies and practices.  Provides guidance to management team in the use and application of salary ranges, promotion and merit increase guidelines, job evaluation plans and interpretation of personnel policies and procedures.  Directs the maintenance of wide variety of benefit programs, e.g., insurance, retirement planning, corporate citizenship, employee education, Credit Union events, etc. Develop employees’ job skills and abilities in anticipation of Company objectives. Assist in long range planning and strategic initiatives for department.  Develop department budget.  Develop compensation, medical, and recruiting budget for entire organization.

    The Consumer Loan Originator is a sales professional responsible for self-sourcing high quality loans which meet VCCU guidelines, while providing excellent member service. Strong sales and organizational skills are essential. Ongoing employment is contingent upon meeting all such requirements.

  • Member Service Representative 1 & 2

    Responsible for posting transactions, answering inquiries and helping members join the credit union.  It also includes performing duties associated with New Accounts and helping members with their lending needs, from origination to funding.  This employee is expected to maintain a professional comportment at all times and comply with all Credit Union policies and procedures, including Standards of Conduct and Confidentiality.
