  • Branch Supervisor - Oxnard

    The primary purpose of this position is to deliver exceptionally high quality service to VCCU’s members and teammates.  A key element of this service to develop a highly effective team of Tellers and to develop each Teller to their highest potential through training, coaching and leadership. Responsible for ensuring that outstanding service is delivered to both internal and external members. A key component of this service is to identify member needs and recommend credit union solutions that will improve members’ financial well-being.  Will also perform a variety of services that interface with the branch management team, Tellers and members.  This position will encompass supervisory duties as delegated by the branch management team and will also include processing member service transactions.

  • Business Development Officer - Ventura County (Full-time)

    • SBA Loan Experience preferred.

    • Business Lending Experience preferred.

    • Sales of Financial Services to Businesses required.

    • Position will be based out of Thousand Oaks or Ventura, but will be considered an   outbound sales representative.

    • Position will require the successful candidate to travel within Ventura County to represent the credit union to business owners, groups, etc.

    • Successful candidate will be expected to be comfortable giving presentations to large groups as well as speak in depth with business owners individually.

    • Candidate will interact with all branches and all levels of management and staff to train and promote sales of business services within the organization.

    • Position is sales driven and candidates will have goals to produce business loans, SBA loans and business deposit accounts and related services.

    Successful candidate will receive salary plus commission/incentive for sales production.

  • Community Outreach Officer

    Retain and expand existing relationships with current Select Employee Groups (SEGs) and to solicit new relationships and other account relationships from prospective employers.  Develop relationships with SEGs, prospective SEGs and other community groups to increase the overall level of business for VCCU.  Call on existing or prospective SEGs within the framework of a community/business development program, including identification of target groups, suitable method of contact and determination of their needs and appropriate products/services.  Build and maintain a portfolio of members within groups; discuss and cross-sell appropriate products and services.  Achieve specific business development goals; document activities and prepare reports as needed.  Work with managers and departments as needs arise.  Several days per week represent the credit union off-site enrolling new members and performing transactions for members in remote locations.  This employee is expected to maintain a professional comportment at all times and comply with all Credit Union policies and procedures, including Standards of Conduct and Confidentiality.

  • Programming Supervisor - Ventura (Full-time)

    Leads a team of application developers to successfully innovate software solutions to meet strategic objectives. Plans, organizes, directs and controls the activities and staff involved in the study, design, development and testing of data processing systems, eCommerce solutions and other software applications. Expected to program multiple languages and offer technical guidance to staff. Generally reports to the Assistant Vice President of Technology or equivalent level. Organizes, coordinates and prioritizes development activities for greatest efficiency and to meet expected timelines. Keeps team current on programming languages, methodologies and industry development. Responsible to manage key eCommerce vendor relationships. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Directly supervises lower level employees. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding, counseling and disciplining of assigned employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.QUALIFICATIONS: A typical incumbent will normally possess three or more years of directly related programming experience. Preferred programming experience in languages such as SQL, JavaScript,  C/C++, HTML, XML, Android development, iOS development and .Net. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. A typical incumbent will normally possess five to eight years of system design, planning and installation experience in data processing activities. Three years of increasingly responsible supervisory/management experience also required. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Must be bondable. Certifications in SQL JavaScript, .Net, XML, HTML preferred.
