Shred Day

February 12, 2022

COVID-19 precautions will be in effect. This will be a no contact, drive-thru event. We ask that participants wear a mask, remain in their vehicles and open their trunks as we remove and shred documents.

Drive Thru Shredding at Your Service

Limit two (medium-sized) boxes/bags of personal papers. This shredding service is for PAPER ONLY. Plastic, metal, glass and cardboard boxes cannot be shredded. All empty containers, cardboard and unacceptable items will be put back in your trunk after shredding is complete.

Here's How We're Limiting the Risk

  • Before heading to the event, have all your paper shred ready in boxes/bags, placed in your vehicle’s trunk or hatch and labeled “SHRED”.
  • Once you arrive at the event, wait for a VCCU staff member to provide assistance and traffic directions. Please DO NOT get out of your vehicle.
  • Pop the trunk or hatch (when asked) and we will deliver your shred items to the shred truck.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation and patience as we modify the event to serve you as safely as possible.
